Oscar is a Partner at UMT Consulting Group with fifteen years of management consulting and operational experience in portfolio management, business strategy alignment and enterprise project office.
At UMT, Oscar leads consulting teams focused on transforming client organizations to maximize the value of their project and asset portfolios in alignment with business objectives. As a principal consultant, Oscar provides expertise developing and implementing methodologies, governance practices, processes and tools on topics ranging from strategic portfolio management to program and project execution. He is also the general manager of the UMT Institute, the UMT training and learning division.
Prior to UMT Consulting Group, Oscar has worked in management consulting and international project management at Arthur D. Little, Compaq and DEC, with engagements across North America, Europe and Latin America. Oscar holds an MBA with focus on Management and Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BS in Mathematics and Computing from the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain. Oscar also is a PMI certified Project Management Professional.
