Catalin is the Chief Product & Technology Officer of UMT, being directly involved with the strategy and management of the product portfolio. Catalin has been with UMT since 2000 and established and managed the UMT Romania development center in Bucharest. His team built the UMT Portfolio Manager suite which was later acquired by Microsoft. He joined the Microsoft Project group in 2006 and continued to coordinate the team that built and maintained Project Portfolio Server 2006 and 2007, as well as Project Server 2010. Catalin was responsible for execution and planning, coordinated recruiting, drove group-wide quality and process improvement initiatives and was a mentor to diverse up-and-coming talents within the company. He rejoined UMT in 2010 after four years with Microsoft.
Catalin brings UMT world-class expertise in developing enterprise products and solutions. Catalin is an expert in project and portfolio management and provides a unique technology understanding combined with solid implementation and consulting experience. Over the years, he worked directly with numerous customers in various industries and segments.
Catalin has a degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University in Bucharest, Romania.
