Bill Cottrell, a Senior Vice President in UMT’s New York Office, has 21 years of consulting experience in a broad range of functions and industries. He has delivered solutions in the Banking, Insurance, Travel, Telecommunications and Pharmeceutical industries, among others. He has worked in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, conducting systems analysis, process reengineering, organization design and Project and Application Portfolio Management.
At UMT Consulting Group, Bill applies his expertise in Portfolio and Project Management, Process Design and Systems Architecture to lead the continuous growth of UMT’s Methodology and Quality Assurance practices. He formalized UMT Consulting Group’s Application Portfolio Management methodology and has been a thought leader in project management office implementation and financial systems integration.
Prior to UMT Consulting Group, Bill worked for several consulting firms, as well as an independent consultant. He received his MBA in Corporate Finance and Operations Management from Columbia University, and his BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.
